Meet Jillian LeBlanc
Jillian LeBlanc is an internationally recognized intersectional feminist, policy leader, and decolonial legal scholar based in Paris, France. She is the Founder and Lead Consultant of Jillian LeBlanc Consulting, where she advises governments, multilateral institutions, and civil society organizations on gender-transformative policy, intersectional evaluation, and rights-based governance.
Jillian holds an LLM in Gender Studies and Law from SOAS University of London, where her research focused on decolonizing international law, feminist interpretations of the laws of war, migration governance, and confronting white supremacy within mainstream feminism.
Jillian was raised on the unceded territories of the Tsimshian Nation, the Gidimten Clan, and the Wet’suwet’en people on British Columbia’s North West Coast, and also spent over a decade working on the unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin People in Ottawa.
She is fluently bilingual in English and French and works professionally in both languages.
